Shopping for a New or Used Piano by Art Scott 888.410.4773

You may have waited for years....but your ready now....you want to buy a good if not great Used or New Piano.

I remember back in 1971, I used to work in Sales for Colton Piano owned by Mr. Vern Schaefer.   I was new to California and was hired to work in the their Flag Ship store in Santa Ana.

I was trained, video taped for 2 months with a brand new group of 12 salespeople.   In retrospect, I owe my success as a Music Educator to the several years I worked for Colton.

I have been to piano and organ factories and watched pianos built from scratch.  I have played the piano since 1961.   To say I know a lot about pianos is an understatement.

I offer free advice to anyone nationwide but my concentration is of course locally here in Orange County.   I know many, many stores and assist in your having a wonderful shopping experience and not feel like your on a used car lot.

A few years ago, I helped a family negotiate on an extreme fine European Piano named Petrof.   It was a baby grand with a unique, one of a kind finish.   The piano normally would have retailed for $35,000 and they through my contacts and relationships were able purchase this instrument for $17,000.   You can actually see and hear this piano at Harrod's in England.

If you contact me directly I can assure you of three things;

1)  I will give you honest answers.

2)  I will direct you to one store so you will not have to shop all over town.   This store has hundreds of pianos, all great name brands under one roof.

3)  I can tell you which name brands to avoid and why I only recommend a certain store.

4) You can have the peace of mind that you paid a fair price for a superior Piano.

Call or email me anytime.
